Hi there, this time excellent news, -about my new job ‘course, we are going to replace all the Microsoft Office installations in the organization, for the latest version of OpenOffice ( 2.0.4 ), terrific huh?, and is not all, we are going to replace a devices called FortiGate, that makes functions like: Firewall, restrict some file extensions like exe or dll or whatever, VPSserver services, and the worst think … they pay for this device 300 US DLL each year, well the solution is simple…. GNU/Linux, Iptables, Squid, OpenVPN, QoS and a anti virus like clam.
This project already began :D, lets play more and more….. changes already began !
Terrific week….
Here I’m again, working hard showing my way to do the things this past week has been exited new people 4 actually at my charge… I need to show them the way to work like a team, share projects ’cause all we has different skills and habits :P.
I know we can do a grates team and the field “working area” is open to new infrastructure, and technologies I mean GNU/Linux, there is no one flavor around me except my Hestia’s LapTop, eventually they must learn the way, step by step ….. ‘come on is my first 5 days…. is nice, this adventure departs a nice ending an ending that has become no ware now … the company is growing in a hard way whitout control, IT areas cares about it, I’m thinking who to make front to this adventure.
